Default Powerflex trailing arm bushings

Anyone with any experience with the Powerflex TA bushings? My stockers are pretty worn out looking. Interested in installing stiffer new ones (in conjunction w/ Chris Walrod front control arm bushings) and these for $349/pr sure beat the $1600/side the dealer quoted me for RS arms!

My only concern is squeaks...I had to go through my M3 and replace all the poly bushings the PO installed with higher quality poly bushings because the old ones drove me NUTS! Anyone with Powerflex bushings that can give me the skinny?

Hoping that the replacement will help get rid of some Weissach effect which drives me nuts with vagueness/unpredictability at the AX lot...

Thanks!

Edited to add: I also see that 9m makes a set of TA bushings as well...how do these compare (both in price and performance) to the powerflex units?

I've had them for three seasons now and happy with the feeling and no squeaks.

Thanks for your input Thomas, glad to hear they don't squeak. Are you running any grease in them, or just dry?

I read somewhere that the 9m bushings are made by powerflex. Can anyone confirm/deny they are the same thing? (I guess even if the 9m units are made by powerflex, they could be made to a different spec) i'll probably just go with the powerflex units as they have a USdistributor which makes them easy to get, but I would be interested in knowing if the 9m units have any tangible benefits. Colin?

I used the grease that was in the package.

I have them on my car for a good few months now, no squeaks and very positive effect on the way the car now handles. I ordered through 9M who have them in stock.....powerflex lost their warehouse in a fire a while ago and were reputed to having delivery problems.

Thanks for all the input guys. I think (hope) that Powerflex has a US distribution warehouse. I'll give them a call and confirm first.
