OBD1 Interface is now available for order!
The OBD1 Interface is now ready to order. As you likely have seen on another thread, there has been a lot of demand, and a lot of patience surrounding these tools.
I have built 30 of the 40 kits, and I should be able to finish the rest tomorrow... and beginning to ship units this week. They take a little bit of work on each one, so it was slow going for me at first.
SO... if you want to get in on the first round of 40 OBD1 kits, please go to
http://www.obd1interface.com and check out the kit. Don't wait to order one, as demand indicates that the first round will go very quickly.
I have sent PMs to everyone I could find that had indicated interest...
Sign up to be on the waiting list for the next round, if you don't get one this time. You will be directed to a form if we're out of stock.
We will make more as soon as we can. (shouldn't be long as we have all the vendors and processes in place)...
Thanks!

It sounds steep, but these are not mass produced widgets. They are essentially hand built single purpose tools.
I've had one for the last 2 years, and it has proven invaluable. Simply resetting the Air Bag, and Seatbelt lights during the diagnostic process saved at least that much money.
The Hammer is now over $2K, and taking it to a shop is a PITA, and also will cost $100/visit.

Thanks tbennett017, put in my order this morning; looking forward to try it out.
Appreciate all the work the 2 of you have put into this project.
I think $269 + shipping is the bargain of the year.

Sorry Dwane, it can NOT bleed the 4wd locks, as a C4 owner, oh how I wish it could. That remains the sole province of the hammer at the moment.
Tom's OBD1 website lists what it can and cannot do on the specs page.

Or for a $100 more the Durametric will bleed the C4 the system. I have a C4 otherwise I would have consider it.

I read "drive links" to mean actuate the mechanicals... and it says "no" under PDAS... Please let me know if I am mistaken.
Apparently Jaime Diaz has had some limited luck with the Durametric PRO system bleeding the PDAS: https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...scan-tool.html
Perhaps he can give you an opinion on how well it works. Remember that the Pro version is a bit more money.
I think we'd all want to do this, but as far as I know, the only tool for doing this automatically is the Hammer.

I'd double check your stats. I don't want to get into an argument about this, but from the Durametric website/feature matrix:

There is no difference between the basic and the Pro versions other than how many VINs you can enter.
The standard basic is 3 and the Pro is unlimited, otherwise there are the same.

FYI, I updated some of the error codes available on http://www.obd1interface.com
When you get your tools, you can use those to help trace issues. AND we'd love to get your input to help make the resource better.
Thanks.
