yeah- you swap out the cassette holder for a tray. Search for cassette swap.

edit: part numbers listed in this thread: Cassette tray swap

Was ok to do, just need to take your time over it. Made it a load easier by laying all the old carpet out and placing all the new carpet on top of it and then working out from the start which pieces were to be fitted first. I spent a load of time planning and thinking about it. Has actually turned out better than it looks in the photos.

Storage bin is available from any OPC, make sure you purchase the rubber inlay piece too. Nice and easy to install

Cheers

Doug,
If your console has the eject-able tapes, you can remove the cassette slots and create your own storage bin in that space. After the cassette slots are removed, I placed a cardboard cutout with a vinyl covering as the bottom for the bin. It looks fully finished and creates a deeper bin than the factory part. Free mod.

The PO did this, but didn't "finish" it off. I thought about doing something to do so, but went ahead and just ordered the tray and rubber insert from Pelican. It looks like a perfect place for my iPhone.

I may take the opportunity to pull the whole console and refinish it as well. ..maybe.

Si - great to catch up with you and see the car at Windsor last Sunday. The car looks amazing - much better than the pictures! I think you'll have the perfect combination - 4WD and lightweight!

Default Interior Shots

Interior is almost done, just finishing off the rear quarter panels and rear shelf area, a few areas need a little tweak, but I'm enjoying driving it too much at the moment

Looking good, did you fit the Continental tyres? How are you getting on with them? I have the Bridgestone S02a and want a change at some point so i would be interested in your thoughts...
