964 Autocrossing
Found these videos on youtube of a nice guards red 964 C4 auto crossing in Wilmington, North Carolina last Sunday. Its weird that it is in fact a video of me driving, and my wife did not take it.........
As you can hear the kid say, the people love the 964's
And I say, give the people what they want
It was a blast, I haven't auto crossed in a few years, and I forgot how much fun it is. The C4 didn't even work hard and we won our class, not top time of day, but not too shabby.
Cheers.

The MG B in beginning of this one is cool.

Awesome! There's little out there more fun than autocrossing a 964 IMO. I love the feeling of coming out of a gate a little sideways, and against all instincts telling yourself to keep it at WOT. Good job winning your class! I'm chasing FTD myself still, there's some damn fast e36 M3's in my club (mostly damn fast drivers!)

Excellent!
Went to my first a/x a couple of weeks ago on the Englishtown road circuit.
I'll be completely honest and say that I was slower than a three legged donkey but by the end of the day had improved slightly - in fact I managed 42nd out of 43....

Interesting you run the course twice?
Never seen that done before but makes it a longer run. AX's this Sunday Meadowlands NJ. Should be a fun event. Not DE but a great single day of fun.
Must have felt strange seeing yourself run without knowing who took the video.

Yes it was down at Cape Fear's CC parking lot. A little worrying with the light poles, but the course was very well set up and we didn't even get close to them.
Racemor
the NC chapter of the SCCA put it on. I think they did a great job and we moved 60 some odd cars through 6 runs each by 3:30 in the afternoon.
It is odd to see a video I didn't take, but it is nice that seeing the car made someone happy, always a good thing!
