Default Free steering rack

Catch is, it is bad. Clearing out the spares and this was left over from when I swapped to the 993 rack. It was not leaking, but it is very stiff to turn, and will not return to center. It should be considered a core. Just pay shipping, and it's yours. I hate to throw it away if anyone has a use for it.

https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...rack-leak.html

"OK, here's the part number: 7832 633 010 and it's a ZF number. (my car is a C2 -92)
And from this link you should be able to locate your local agent:
http://www.zf.com/content/en/import/...ebServOrg.html
As I said before, this wasn't a special deal. I just called them and asked if I could buy a repair kit, and the answer was " give me the ZF-number on the steering rack and I send the repair kit home to you"."

If shipping ends up not making it worthwhile I might be able to pick it up.

Thanks, Travis

Don't thank me , its just a part number .
Unless you can find someone willing to sell the part ...
I went to the ZF site and went nuts looking for the "parts for sale" page .

So the search is on for "7832 633 010" .
Anybody seen one for sale in the U.S. , Mexico or Canada ?

The text about the kit from ZF was posted by me, so I can confirm it's "true"! And as said, there's no webshop, call you local agent and they help you.

Jason from this site ?

If we each get a kit , should we team up from 2000+ miles for a rebuilding the rack photo diary ?

Whats 100% true in Sweden might be impossible in the U.S.

I don't think it is the same Jason. That was the contact name and number I got when I called their main HQ in the US.

And as far as the photo diary. Count on it!
