why waste time talking about 600lb JIC Cross if you want 250lb Eibach?
why waste time talking about KW Clubsport if you want 800lb Cup springs?

That's one of the things I don't like about some coil overs, you are stuck with getting the springs they select for their setup. I like the way you can select the spring rates you want on the AST stuff. I may give the 4150 a try and report back how it works out since it doesn't seem like anyone has tried it yet.

I need to seek the advice of the Rennlist masses!
Im looking for a set of coilovers for my 1990 C4 964 to replace my worn stock suspension with a height adjustable kit. The price of the KW V3 kit is very expensive in the UK and I have been checking eBay.com for other manufacturers.
I have noticed that both the JIC Magic / Cross kit and the Kido Racing kit are much cheaper. Does anyone have any experience of these kits? I know that they wont be as adjustable as the KW3s, but I just want a starter kit (needs to be height adjustable front and rear though!)

Bilstein or H&R Cup shocks revalved for the springs and car are the nuts
Bilstein B6 are a somewhat less costly alternative
600/800# springs w/ the proper matching valving are perfectly streetable

This thread was started two years ago and only revived yesterday by someone else so it's a bit harsh to criticize the OP at this late stage. For all we know he might have got the info he needed and made his choice a long time ago?
