given the choice, white would be my first pick ... although I always said to myself that I didn't care about colour.

It's a Porsche, of course it's going to look good in silver. It's like asking if a Ferrari looks good in red.

I started up a totally Polar Silver thread, so export all your PS beauties from this thread over to that one. PS Forever.

I have been looking around at 996s and 964s in Australia ..the 993s are out of budget ... here's a quick price guide which is going to be scary for the US guys with the ongoing good exchange rate ...
993 - US$67k
996 - US$50k
964 - US$43k

but the original purchase price is around US$170k .. so the price of used cars as a percentage is probably comparable to the US.

I have been looking at a few cars interstate and was close to going ahead with a red 964 - completely original so it would need some dollars spent with new wheels and lowering. Then noticed a silver C4 advertised by a dealer .. then was amazed that the car was about a 5 minute walk away! So I went from the hassle of freighting cars around the country to a car that a 5min walk away.

Service records were good so I suspect the PPI will be reasonable.

Definitely one of the better looking silver 964s.

I wonder how it would look with those rims painted black?

Polar silver is nice . . . but arctic silver w/black trim is the best!
