Tied a few simple knots in my dental floss.
Sliced through that adhesive foam like a band saw.

Also used blue painter's tape as position guides for the new signage's application.

Get the tape 'just so' - level, positioned for height, etc. - then tape something thickish, like a piece of cardboard on top (and aligned with) the blue tape's edge.
Peel off the signage backing tape, and pivot/flip it down off the cardboard's edge.
(Give it a few practice tries with the backing paper in place before doing The Big Stick.)
Perfect application every time!

Such pivot will be off the lowest edges of the "Carrera" signage: the "C", "e", and "2/4".
