Looks like it is in the middle of a conversion at Protomotive. Could be really fun and good for a long time. It might be worth a call to Todd if anyone is really interested. I wounder if the winning bid price includes the cost of the Protomotive work.

Stage 4 has only 600hp?

Sounds odd to me. Stage 1 is 380hp, Stage 2 is 560hp....so stage 4 is only 600hp...does not make sense to me unless they are going to a super conservative reliable HP #.

Heh.
Thanks - don't know why I found that funny, but I sure needed that chuckle this morning.

Stage 4?... How about Stage 11?
(Where just slipping the key in the ignition causes the engine to grenade.)

I'm no expert but I don't see anything in those shots that suggests it has turbos...

I would be a drooling mess if my car had 600 hp. I'd be wearing an orange jumpsuit and picking up trash all day.

I dont see anything thats 85% done. Not one single photo with a turbo. In addition the shot of the motor in the car itself is not looking like a 600 bhp fire breathing monster. Looks more like a N/A 964 3.6. Narrow body Oak green is nice !!

85% complete, eh? Maybe it only has 510 hp at this point ;-)

The protomotive stage 4 is listed to produce 650hp at 1.2 bars. The cost is listed at about $39,000. I know that a rebuild to this extent requires a change out of most of the internals and it's really only toward the end of the project where you will see the installation of obvious turbo components such as the turbos, intercooler and any body modifications. Now, with that said, who knows if the winning bid buys you a completed project or one that still needs another $30,000+ to complete.

I've got a feeling that you'd be buying a pile of parts that someone else couldn't afford to put together.
