Shift linkage bushing

I believe it’ll work for both cups if my memory serves me correctly. Did the same repair on mine in 2011 (I also found the shift tube [27] had fallen out from one of the holes as wel).

A couple of days ago I had exactly the same problem: the bushing in part #15 was eaten away and the rod dropped. I'm considering what to do but it seems that using the 928xxxxxxxx bushing is an excellent trick since getting the whole #15 is expensive!!!
Does anyone know if the same bushing 928xxxxxxxx can also be used to replace the bushing in part #16? While I'm at it I may as well renew both...

I replaced my shifter tube cups with those parts. BTW, my shifter felt fine, even though the cups looked like this:

What did they make those cups out of, wax? The microswitch-side connectors on my MB W124 door handles are of the same material, just crumbles if you look at it funny.

I do it routinely on all the cars regardless. Cheep fix and after 25 years it's time...easy to do. I use a little super lube, but don't use too much grease or they are a bitch to get on. Creates an air seal...

I carry my handgun with me everyday. There’s a reason we have CCL in Texas. I go to gun shows at least 3-4 times a month. Hit the range 4 times a month. I just love the rush. I remember being in Afghanistan & calling in Airstrikes via CAS & then making sure it was clear & no one was left afterwards. The best feeling ever was when I was awarded the AF Combat Action Medal with 2 gold stars during one deployment & a gold frame on my AF Expeditionary service ribbon. Receiving those in front of your peers. I volunteered for 4 more deployments & ended up with a ton of medals. Getting medals was my motivation, which I guess is not great but it worked. With the way the world is today you should own a gun but just know how to use it, be responsible & aware the power that it has. Never drink and carry either.

“So as you can see, Airman Smith, that is why your CO signed off on this LALO operation that will drop me and my 911 onto MSR 1 at 3am.
Also, you can clearly see that the frunk is quite small so I’ll need ammo resupply every other day.”
