Default Are these motor mounts shot?

Based on using search function I think definitely yes?!! I have not tried removing and shaking them yet. Car is '91 C2 with only 38K original miles. Pretty much a garage queen before I got to it. I recently did brakes and fixed oil leak and jacked up car rear by the engine as recommended and shown by local specialist. This is probably first time car has been lifted by engine - rest was dealer services. Car seemed fine for about 200 miles after brake job but now there is a loud rubbing/vibration/humming noise from right rear engine area when I turn left at slow speed - parking lot speed. Hear a much fainter similar noise just before coming to a stop and when accelarating slowly. Even more faintly hear noise sitting at idle. Same noise when turning left whether or not clutch engaged. Local guy has ruled out flywheel or brake problem. In my expert novice opinion it feels like the engine is just loose back there... Any advice much appreciated.

Good to know...as I learn about more about these cars I'm trying to understand what wears due to mileage and/or age?

Everyone wants a garage sweet (myself included as there will definitely be more/different 964 in my future), but low miles means you have potentially watchout for a different set of problems?

Pics of the rest of the car?!

More reason to think long and hard before raising the car by the engine. I get a front corner on a jack stand by raising from the rear pad. That gets the trailing arm high enough to use the cast-in round boss to raise the rear corner and get a stand under the rear jack pad. Getting the other side up is duck soup once you have stands on the first side.

Here are couple more crappy pics of car... Mods done so far: Gpipe, C4 rear calipers in place fo 2 pots, Carrera III 18" wheels, H&R springs, Sparco Evo L seats, Das Sport Roll Bar, 5 point harnesses, clear front corners with bumperette delete. Hoping I can continue to afford her

Cafe00,
Thanks for the pics...Yes, yes! Perfect.

I've seen those wheels in black, but on black cars. Looks stunning on a white car.

Good to see you are starting the love early! Little kids and Porsches...go on to be big kids with Porsches!!

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I got a look at mine today and I think I see some Wevos in my near future.
