I told my wife (of 32+ years) that she needs to get used to me (as well as the 964), regardless of whether "its old" or "smells funny".

Some people resemble their dogs. I resemble my cars.

Had a great weekend! All three of my sons came home on Friday, with wives/fiances and grandkids and dogs. Lots of food, playing, fishing, etc. The wife and I went to a local winery for pizza, wine, and music with our Gold Creek Guzzlers Racing Team friends (aka neighbors w/ a 996) on Saturday evening while our boys+wives went to the camp outside the Indy 500 track to party all night. I joined my sons for the 500 race on Sunday - the hottest race in history. Luckily we had seats in the Paddock section under roof. Very interesting race. On Monday I changed the oil in the 964 and cleaned brake dust off the wheels (both sets) and changed back to my "normal" street tires and brake pads. Still need to clean out the oil cooler - I think I picked up some dead grass and such during an "agricultural adventure" during the previous weekend's DE.
I need to post pictures of the 964 with the full DE gear - DAS roll bar, PP seats, harnesses, fire extinguisher, numbers. Definitely kool.

Life is Good.

News was not good. They are shutting ours and 2 other offices down once we finish out contracts or get out of them. Guess I will be spending a bit more time up at the summer house in a couple of months. There arent any engineering jobs to be had around this area so guess it semi retirement for a while. I am going to let bho support me and my toys for a while

+2!

Are you still in Virgina? There is a great weekend of historic racing coming up this weekend at VIR. It's easy to forget about the "real world" for a while at the track!
