Talking 964 Motor Mounts

Im thinking of changing these out . Its seems pretty easy , anybody have a set they want to sell ? Or is this one of those items that I should stop being a tight *** and go buy from Pelican or Vertex

You should get Wevo as the inserts are replaceable ($17 each) and you have 2 choices soft or hard.
OEM mounts will go bad again with time..
I bought from Pelican and as usual a good transaction

Good luck!

I replaced mine with 993 mounts. Go straight in and cost about 50% of the 964 mounts from the OPC here in the UK. Note that the 964 mounts are handed, left & right side, the 993 mounts are the same both sides - odd?

I propose that my mounts take the prize for most beaten up engine mounts ever! Thank God the wevo blacks are going in soon...

I just got the WEVO blacks along with doing the Rennline engine carrier reinforcement. I had read posts from others in this forum who had gone to the WEVO mounts saying that there was increased noise and / or degradation of ride characteristics. My personal experience has not been the same. I found no difference in ride or sound from stock mounts which were still in good shape when I took them out. I am happy with the WEVO mounts (no affiliation)

Yes, the 993 mounts are a direct bolt-in replacement and are much cheaper. I recently compared them side-by-side for the article on my 3.4 Boxster conversion - they were the same. Here's a link to them in our catalog:
