Going to test drive a '03 Boxster S for the weekend. We have someone interested in purchasing our '98 Boxster and a friend who just bought a 2010 Boxster S and would like to sell us his '03 S, so he gave us the keys for the weekend!
Oh, I changed the tranny oil in my 964 last weekend, with RL 75w-90ns, and gave it a wash and wax, so it'll look purdy for this weekend!

I have a Hasselbad C500 too... but I can't afford a digital back for it. Honestly I am too lazy to use film anymore.
New car? you'll all laugh, but its an interesting contrast to the P-car.. now the 964 can be treated with a little more respect without having to be the grocery getter... Though I think my first autocross with it might be a little silly.
Pretty sure I am going to call it "The Stealth Clam"

Taking off for the first DE of the year in a few minutes. Wuhooo. Giddy like a little schoolgirl. The car is all set up with the new DAS roll bar, harnesses, pole positions, Pagid oranges, MaxQData logger, fresh alignment, no rain in the forecast for today. Car number is 496 (think about it).

That's my take on it too... I need a car to move my son who is now taller than I am, along with his huge school bags, french horn case (which keeps tearing up the vinyl in the 964) and all of the other bits. I figure buying a used Prius is no more awful for the environment than a new anything else... and we did a spreadsheet last night. At 14 MPG in the 964, and an average 30-45 MPG in the Prius, the car pays for half of itself already. Also I'd rather put the commuting in traffic miles on a Prius as I consider it more disposable than the 964. That way I can also migrate the P-car into more sporting duties...

The new one looks cool too and the "touch tracer" display really is next gen user interface.

my DD is a Pontiac Grand Prix, with 25-27 mpg regardless of how hard I beat on it. I could do better, sure, but 2 car seats, 2 adults, and bags of crap I like the room in the GP.

i love the GP. It's not the Porsche, but I can get on it any time I need to and it goes- pretty quickly too. Comfortable to cruise from New York to Cali in if you had to.
