Happily not, because opening up the engine boot would constitute a breach of warranty, and we'd have to send the cars back to the factory when the battery needs replacing, etc. And most of the Rennlist sponsors would have been sued out of existence long ago 
But yeah, Apple stuff is usually good industrial design, aesthetically speaking.
