Hi Guys, I've got a problem with my roof.

Sometimes, when I pulse the roof switch, the only engines which work are the lock ones, and like in "phases", I have to pulse, and It moves a little, I pulse again, and It moves a little more, but the open/close engines doesn't work. When that happens, I move the car some meters, I wait sometime and It finally works. ¿What happens?

Another problem is.. When I switch the lights, the instrument light only switch on with the "position" or "first light/selection", with the "crossing" lights or "second selecction" the instrument light switch off.

are you talking about a sunroof or a convertable top?

It sounds like you have bad solder joints in the control box under the dash. It is a common failure. They need to be resoldered. I am having the same type problem on mine now.

 

Wow, I thought that it would be something easier to fix .

 

I have the same pulse issue. I tried to resolder the control unit but that did not help.
