Default Redline 75W90 NS

I put delvac in a couple of years ago and never was happy with it due to notchy shifting and grinding at the track towards the end of a session or at certain turns on the track.

Then the shop that put a new clutch in last year changed to swepco and things were a little better but not as good as the stock fill was, so that encouraged me to search for another brand and the Redline brand has many positive opinions so gave it a try.

First impressions are awsome. The shifting feels butter smooth cold or hot it doesn't matter. It felt so smooth I tried going into first at speed and it went right in, couldn't believe it. I have not been to the track yet but for now I would highly recommend this stuff.

Jerry,
Sorry! Best $52 bucks I ever spent. If it makes you feel better the Redline makes some noise to.

My tranny is notchy when hot. I'm willing to give Redline a try. Where did you get it?

They have a dealer locator on their website so just type in your zip and find out who has it close by. Also, I have a LSD and not sure what the open diff should use, they make a couple types.

Thanks for posting. I'm due for a swap and it sounds like this stuff is made for our cars: Great for synchro's and LSD's.

Just make sure you get the NS (non slip) version for your open diff G50.

I bought the 75w90 (not the NS version) for my c4, though I have not used it yet.

Is this incorrect?

Redline is a fantastic lube, use the "NS" version if you want to increase lock-up in your LSD. It has less friction modifiers and helps the synchros as well...shifts smooth as silk. I use the 75-90 NS in all my 911 transaxles and MT-90 in the 944's. Delvac is a-OK as well but not quite as smooth on the synchros. I get my Redline from Jeg's and Delvac from Grainger BTW.
