Default Spring is here...heating problem

I still have the heating problems. Hammer says that the servo is gone, but the movement works. I have taken the small torpedo wall away, opened the right side off the heating unit…and the flap works when I turn the **** in the car! Everything seams to work as it schould..but I still got the heat on in every setting. On the picture you see that I get cold air from one outlet (blue) and warm air from the other 3 ( red)….what have I missed? When I turn on the AC…no difference, but colder air from the same outlet (blue)

Mine was doing the same thing. I ended up buying 2 used servo motors last fall and replacing them and all is well again. Mine would work some times. The 2 motors were $100 for the pair used. Sure beats the $300 or so each for new.

Just a thought but what happens if you swap the two servos? Does the problem shift with them? This test may isolate if you have a bad servo problem or the problem is somewhere else?

you can also just pop the swing arm off at the 2 end servos and see if you still have the heat. The
flaps are closed by default.

Yes, this is it, but the problem is that the thing sometimes says "klonk" but it dosen't mean it is closed and makes hot air comes inside. My friend had this problem in his 964. Just check it.
