Default Looking for OEM cup I wheels

Apparently, non OEM wheels are not allowed in DE. Does anyone have a set of 7.5/9s for sale?

Thanks,
Justin

There are usually Cup I, II, and replicas on eBay, craigslist, or the Rennlist For Sale sections. You have to be a member to use the Rennlist For Sale section or the 964 For Sale/Wanted thread.

Geoffrey confirmed the copies from mille miglia are just as solid as original.
I believe they were made at the same factory.
I just picked up a set in turbo sizes and will be using them for DE.

Here's another option but in 7/8's. E-mail address included.

One set of 1993 RS America OEM "Mille Miglia Cup 1" wheels for sale. Wheels had approximately 80,000miles on them before being professionally refinished. They are pristine and have very few miles on them since refinishing, then were stored safely in wheel boxes. Wheel specs are as follows:

Front: 7" wide, offset 55mm - Part# 965 362 124 00
Rear: 8" wide, offset 52mm - Part# 965 362 126 01

Wheels come with original center caps engraved with the Porsche crest.

The wheels are located in Vancouver, BC, CANADA. I am asking $1800CAD or $1700USD. Buyer pays for shipping. Offers will be considered. Would like to sell quickly.

I can be reached at the following email address: rbauhart@hotmail.com
Or cell phone: 778-989-2719

Thanks,

Roland

I have a set that need refinishing, but are straight and true. they are currently on my car and you are more that welcome to take it for a drive. I am probably less than 2 hours from you.
I also have other oem wheel sets, both in 16's and 17's.

I have replicas on mine and it was never a concern at any of the PCA DEs that I have participated in.

From the Tech sheet:

[ ] [ ] WHEELS: no cracks or bends; tight lug nuts & valve caps. No imitation Porsche wheels

Is this a new requirement?

Never seen this. You might pull your wheels and look for a TUV stamp or casting it's either the letters or a little triangular symbol. If it has that it means they were certified for use on German roadways and it would be hard for anyone to argue they are not up to snuff. That requirement is pretty arbitrary, no BBS if it wasn't a factory part?

I believe what they are talking about are the earlier cars Carrera 3.2 3.0 etc... that have the Chinese knock offs of Fuchs. Not TUV approved wheels such as the Mille Miglia's. Plenty of people using them at DE's.
