Since their placement puts them behind the baffle in the bumper, they are on the exhaust side of the bumper. So they are another place for hot air to dump out (besides the vents in the aprons) after it has gone through the oil cooler/condenser.

Has anyone been able to locate the vent or canard side light replacements or were they one offs?

It was tested in 300 km speed close at my vehicle, but the front of the ground feeling has increased considerably

canards are interesting and somewhat obscurely not primarily to create downforce on the front axle
but rather to smooth the air flow past the wheels and reduce drag/vortices

They work on narrow/wide, Polyurethane.
