Default Finally found the right sound

I finally decided on the right sound for my 93. I had my mechanic replace the secondary muffler and cup bypass with a primary muffler and j-pipe. It's the tone without being too loud. There is no drone on the freeway, which was a must. The car feels quicker too! I must have gained 100 hp! LOL!

Agree with you on the sound, Eric! Now here's the next step in the evolution (Garrett's old primary now on my car!):

Your car sounds fantastic! Any issues with the police?

Well, that's actually Garrett's car in the video but I've run a similar setup in my car (cat and secondary bypass) without any problems with the police. With all the boy racers out there, it's hardly the loudest exhaust on the road.

The cat bypass gives it more depth--sort of like adding a subwoofer to the soundtrack. And it will easily add another 100 hp to your p-car!

That's what I ended up just leaving on the RSA #1 when racing. Even passed Laguna sound!

Default The right sound

Just finished two winter jobs today on my RSA. Finshed adjusting valves, then when reinstalling the exhaust system I used...
Cat by-pass
Cup pipe
OEM secondary muffler
Open air box w/ K&N

So tommorow I start it up for the 1st time with mods.

I hope I'm as excited as you guys are.

Hello, I am looking at the primary muffler pictured above. I recently pulled the exhaust system on my 91 C2 coupe. While I had it off I was curious about the primary muffler as to whether it was chambered or not. I pushed a wire from one end and it came out the other end with no problem so that told me it has no chambers. The muffler looks completely original/stock. Do I have a Cup muffler?
