I have Sumitomo HRZIII's on the street C2. Have had them for two years and they wear well, little to no noise and grip pretty well in an autocross. Haven't driven it much in the rain, but the few times I did, it seemed okay.

Finally the cheapest tires available here are Dunlop Direzza, are they any good?
the price is slightly better than the hankook V12 Evo

+1 for the Fuzion (Bridgestone) tires - very good value for road use. Mine have performed flawlessly in all conditions. Not sure what to expect for tire life, but it looks like I might be able to get 20,000 miles on the rears.

From what I gather, the Dunlop Direzza's are very good choice leaning more towards track than street. Excellent grip good wear. Great reviews on tire rack.
