Sweet, sweet, sweet. Congrats.

I expect you to bring her out on Saturdays when the weather gets better.

There are about 4 or 5 964s (is that a gaggle?) that often make an appearance at the usual location. We had our first wrench party and my place this year and then did a little run through the Dundas Valley. Look forward to seeing it and meeting you soon.

So nice. Wish I still had my slate gray. I'm considering moving 'up' a 993, but I think you're right about 64s always looking good... forever and ever.

Are you guys doing it tomorrow? Supposed to be dry with periods of sun. Damn cold though...

DO NOT DO IT! ;-) Seriously, 993s are great and the top end pull is much more invigorating but the older they get the less well they're aging IMHO.

Buy a rare 964 like a '94 C4 widebody or RS America instead. Just my $0.02.

Default Bilstein HD's

I concur, car looks great. FWIW, I swapped out 68k mile oem Boges for Bilstein HD's last fall. Car had H&R greens already. While no seepage/appearance of problems with the Boges was apparent, the Bilsteins are a substantial improvement--much less harsh on impacts, smoother ride, etc. A worthwile upgrade at 68k IMHO. V

Michael, thanks, I have all those pictures on file, I think you send them to me back when.
Any ways, have a very merry Christmas and all the best for the new year to you and your family.

PS. It was my cars birthday on the 14th, we celebrated with a few drinks.

PSS. If you like Scotch or not, have a look at the post under the heading," If you are a scotch drinker" I think you will like it, very well done.

@Van Larson - Good to know. I have to say I'm surprised at the improvement in ride quality over the stock springs and 16-inch tires. Maybe the tires were just old and hard relative to the soft PS2s.

@Steen - Ditto.

I go back and forth on 964 vs. 993 pretty much daily. Life is tough. The 993 looks a little better, but the 964 has the 911 iconic styling. The 993 is on an island between classic and modern, never matching either.

That said the 993TT is still the end all be all 911 IMHO.

The hood doesn't slope as much on the 993 as it does on the 964, the lights are streamlined on the 993 but the 964 has the iconic perches. The 993 rear bumper and lights are integrated better together, whereas the 964 bumpers stick out a bit. Door handles on the 993 are more fluid with the car.

The usual gang is there every week. I drive all year so I bring my car regardless. I won't be there tomorrow though. Turnout might be thin this close to Christmas.

I hear ya. We're having an xmas party for 40 and my wife just gave me my shopping list for tomorrow...there's like 100 line items! Not sure I can pull it off either.

I have to say that I couldn't be happier with the ride quality, the look and the way they're working with the stock shock. No bobbing, nice and controlled over bumps. I can really feel the RS Alignment as well...the car steers so much more fluidly and easily.
