If it's "OEM" it should be the same as everywhere else, no?

"Thomas C2" used a 993 seal on his car and it had a really nice finish, the thread should be in the archives. I like the look of the 993 seal better, too bad I didn't know I could use it until after I replaced the windshield on my RSA.

The 964 does too, my mechanic replaced the outer one when replacing the glass but reused the inner one. At least that's how I remember it.

964 = 1 seal. OEM is the only way to go. Requires 'old school' glass skills to install correctly.

My install kind of sucks (used pelican seal), wonder if I should ask to get it reinstalled?

I bought my Pelican seal two years ago for a new windshield's installation.
As I recall, it was one big hoop (of the expected cross-section) rubber.
Old seal was cut up and discarded. New seal's install went smoothly.

by "old school" do you mean using the rope method on the inside of seal to pull and form the seal properly on the inside portion of glass?
