I know the feeling, even with my 996tt running 11's (reflash and exhaust - 11.7 @ 121mph) I wanted more, and then I'm sure after that I would have wanted more. That's one of the main reasons I sold it. I prefer the older cars in many ways and I wanted to build one with as close to 400hp at the crank as I could get, lighten it and then just enjoy the visceral experience of a lightweight air cooled 911. I would prefer normally aspirated but it's hard to argue with the cost to benefit ratio of a supercharger setup.

So I believe my plans are as follows (in no particular order):

1. TPC Supercharger Kit
2. Lightweight Flywheel
3. Proper exhaust setup
4. Lighten everything
5. Coilovers

After the MAF setup from Vitesse i have an HP of 292, i really dont think you can get that from an chip. But its not only the HP but al so the response of the gas.

Great information here...

So far I've deleted the cat and secondary exhaust and I can't get enough of it. Right now, the next thing is going to be a suspension+ new tires.

I do need to get a SW chip soon though, the 964 is burning much more gas than usual with the cat bypass....or maybe I'm just driving the car faster

For me the best mods I've done to my 964 were the LWF (RS) clutch, a set of KW V3, the Steve W chip and primary and cat by-pass. Last year I removed the entire exhaust system and installed a new 2-in two-out FVD Brombacher ehaust sytem and this was by far the biggest improvement I've done to the car. Not sure of power increase (sure there is some) but the trhottle response was amazing very close to modern car, much more usable low-end torque as well. Not I have to send my chip back to S. Wong to have it remap for the LWF, the sport/headers exhaust system for hopefully more driving fun.

I have done suspension, exhaust, wong chip and a ton of other mods. Always wanted the music to sound better for long trips and finally found the answer...subwoofer...biggest sound improvement I ever made since removing the factory setup...dont know how I ever did without it

That is an easy question to answer it is weight reduction, start from the rear, and work upward and forward.

If you sell of some of the parts your remove you'll have more bucks to buy extra bangs which I would spend on good set of tyres, lighter wheels improved the suspension and a proper geo setup.

All of these mods will help improve acceleration, cornering, braking and the transition between each of them ie the whole time the car is moving

No engine or braking mods will have as big an effect for the same price.

Lots of posts and I'm surprised not one mention of improving the driver. ;-)

Can't believe no one has mentioned a new gas pedal. My Rennline adjustable pedal made heel and toeing easy and fun. Plus it looks great.
