Not much with the Porsche this weekend. Spent Saturday car shopping for my mom's new ride, then had friends over for game night. There was a lot of beer drnking, and one woman proclaiming she would never get a boob job.
I know that's not Porsche related, but it was an interesting discussion anyway
Thinking of all the winter projects I won't have time or money for, as we're only 5 weeks away from baby delivery date. This time 5 weeks hence we should be face to face with the little tyke.

*****, face-to-faces, tykes, 5 week count downs... All Good!
Raked leaves, had roof fixed, see other leaves fall, wax car, drive car, finish 1/2 of Christmas buying, & other stuff unrelated... overall, a good weekend.

Nice weather this weekend, did some hiking, playing with the baby, changing diapers, house chores, etc.
I also took the new car out for what could be its final drive of the season. Come to think of it, I never properly introduced it here, so here it is...

Ilko,
Very nice! It's amazing how different a 993 looks from a 964, but so many similar parts under the skin...
Also big thanks for fixing your Agent Orange website... 5 brake light mod
Stay warm!

I put new pads on the front last night, brake bleed etc. Dan Johnson came by with some spare brake pads for me to use. I also deleted the brake pad sensors this time around. (It becomes like changing a light bulb when you remove those things and mess with just the pads...)
I had a chance to drive his C2, and the feel of his brakes is rock solid, right at the top. My C4 still feels a little squishy, or more boosted. I have done the extended brake bleed procedure as outlined in Adrian's book (the bomb, block and pump)
Does anyone have an opinion on this?

Ilko - The car looks great. Have you set aside time to paint the wheels orange?
Hawk - 5 weeks to go will fly by. Hope mom and the baby are doing well.
My weekend was pretty quiet. Ran some errands. Helped wash and wax a friend's car (Prius). Gave it a quick check of everything to make sure its ready for the winter.
On the 964 front, I've completed a "to do" list for both cars. I'm not sure I have enough time and/or $$$ to do everything this winter but we'll see how much I can do. Tinkering (playing) in the garage is always fun. I'm asking Santa for a new tool box for Christmas. :-)

I did a whole lot of nothing this weekend. I took the Pcar out for a little cruise around, did some dog training, yard work, floor cleaning, etc. Very exciting rock and roll kind of stuff.

I just got back from a long weekend closing up my summer cottage in Virginia. I was lucky and didnt have any bad damage from the storm surge last weekend when the big Northeaster hit the coast. The water was about a foot deep around my house. Luckily I am 3 feet above grade. It feel good to be back in Florida where its shorts weather again! Here are a couple pictures of my neighbors houses that wernt so lucky!

That is very scary that your house almost headed out to sea. The damage to the peach house looks expensive.
I use to live on the bay and we would lose our dock every few years. Good fun!
