Default Clear Headlight Lense for HID- Any Ideas

Hey Guys,

I am looking to find some clear (non-fluted) headlight lenses for a new HID conversion project I am working on for my C2. I have seen one or two examples in the past but it never shows how the headlights were made because they aren't available out of the box anywhere.... Any ideas on where i can find Clear lenses without any flutes in the glass???? Example Below....

This question has lingered for a long time with no viable solution other than a bespoke option. Ironically, the old-school 911s with the 7" sealed beams have a couple of solutions, but it seems the low-volumes of the 964 don't justify an aftermarket product.

Look at Pelican Parts under Bosch European headlight conversion. They show clear headlight covers, but I am not sure if they are intended to be used by themselves or over existing headlights.

Bear in mind that the prismatic pattern of the "standard" glasses is required to form and project, the beam. Unless the HID conversion will include prismatic reflectors, then a clear glass will only give you a broad (and dim) flood of light. If you try lighting the road with a Maglite with the focusing head removed, you'll get the idea. The clear Pelican covers are for protection only.

Default projectors

Well my project is going to include Bi-Xenon projectors out of a E46 BMW M3 so i wouldn't need the lenses for anything but protection from the elements....

I'd kill for a legit hid solution. The two that seem to be available aren't without their flaws..

I thought the Dzug solution was pretty good, if not pricey?

IMO...

DZug aesthetically is just ok and pricey.

AP and Singer looks the best and pricey.

If someone can produce AP/Singer looks and function correctly for reasonable price = winner!

Wasn't it StuartQ that recently posted photos of a gorgeous looking set what he saw at Essen?

How much did they end up costing?

I had a custom set of headlights made using H4s and projector HIDs. The clear lenses that were used were VW bug lenses. They are a good option if you need a clear lens.
