Maritime Blue Question
I was flipping throught a Porsche Book last night and noticed that Maritime Blue has 3 factory color codes.
In 1990 it was called maritime blue metatllic # 35V
In 1991 it was called maritime blue # 388
In 1992 it was called maritime blue # F2
All three were offered as standard colors for their respective years. Anyone know the difference?

The Glasurit paint site notes the following color code for 911's "MARITIMBLAU" between 1990-93:
Manuf: PORSCHE
Color Name: MARITIMBLAU
Color Code: 38B (This may be a mistaken read of "388" on your part? Or, on Glasurit's?)
Aux. Code: F2
Years: 1990-1993
Good luck, Mr. Phelps... Color Name: MARITIMBLAU
Color Code: 38B (This may be a mistaken read of "388" on your part? Or, on Glasurit's?)
Aux. Code: F2
Years: 1990-1993
388 is how it's listed in the Red Book, LB, for the 91's. 38B is probably correct since the other colors (aside from black and white) use an alpha-numeric naming convention. For 92-on, it's referred to by the Glasurite aux code, F2, you provided.
For 1990, there is no Maritime option, however, there IS a Marine Blue Metallic 35V.

My car says 38B on the back of the fuel flap.
This is a good Maritime resource

Rather rare. But surely beautiful!
