is it the complete from heat exchangers back?
the 993 HE's exit towards the rear center of the car. the 964's exit on the left side of car.
If it includes the exchangers, you may have to spin the right side flanges, although the BB's might have the 4 holes.
so the answer is "maybe"

My 1991 RS America had a 993 exhaust on it when I bought it in May. I since have replaced it, but based on discussions with the owner, the 993 exhaust can be fitted, but the exhaust flanges on one side need to be re-oriented to fit on a 964 engine. This involved breaking the weld, turning the flange and re-welding the flange.

Hey Jeff- There's some info on Doug's FVD exhaust upgrade contained in this thread.
Locally, I have a few 964 buds who opted the S-Car-Go version with Burns Stainless mufflers--that's a pricey install. Another went with (what looks like) European Racing headers from SmartRacing and Phase 9 mufflers. I'm "in between" exhausts at the moment (cracked headers, back to stock) but would probably go with S-Car-Go. No dyno info but one of the S-Car-Go stock cars pulls like a friggn' train.
