Default I'm back..with a turbo this time!

Some of you may remember I sold my 90 C2 last Summer and mentioned I was interested in a turbo. Well after looking and driving all type of sports car from American to Euro I realized that I just like 964's and 964 turbo's even more! So after 4 short months I am back in one.

This one is a 91 with 60K on the clock and very nicely taken car of in terms of the interior and body. Now the engine has some leaks I will need to fix but after about 24 hours of ownership I can say that it is all original paint, needs right side valve cover gaskets, probably an oil pressure sensor gasket(of course a hard one) and maybe a right side cam chain leak. Have not had it on the lift yet but all in all not bad. Only mods are H&R springs, 1 bar spring, and wheels so there is plenty of room for improvement which is what I wanted for winter projects. I have buffed the paint out, straightened the front spoiler and replaced the rear tail lights in the last day of ownership so I will take some better pics tomorrow. Real excited for sure! Ah yes clear front markers are on order.....

Yes, the wheels need to go but I am not sure I want to go to 18's? Maybe RH or Kinesis 17's?? Thanks everyone!

Why 17"s? 18" Speedlines would be like a chick gettng a boob job...fuller is better...the wheel wells get filled out so nicely...are the roads that bad in TX? I live in the NYC area and I upgraded to the Speedlines with a set of Bilsteins and it has been the best thing I have done for my car since I bought it.

Good luck which ever way you go...maybe 17"s and some spacers...fill out those wheel wells man!

Hey that looks like your old car... red, wing, same wheels? Oh I see, much bigger hips! Very nice. Your '90 had some great mods on it, are you planning to go more extreme with this one given the tuning potential of the engine? 500+ HP monster!

Once you get comfortable with the T, we'd love to hear a comparison between the two?!
