This particular car will not sell at that price. Hell, even if it was an RSA it wouldn't sell at that price. If he gets $25K he'll be doing very well. That being said, our cars will only climb in value now. We've seen the bottom. I come from the early P-car world, and I'm finding more and more of my friends finally seeing the value and worth of these fine 911's. Most of these guys have several early cars and don't ever look at anything else. They are all beginning to come around. Frankly there are not many ever available at one time, so once they start getting scooped up quickly, the prices will move accordingly.

This car has been for sale since before I bought my car in May of 2008. He was asking less for it then and didn't sell. I guess he is under the understanding that the longer he waits, the more he can ask! Good luck to him but its been for sale for probably 2 years. Lets be realistic!

Never a truer statement. Compared to 3.2 and 993 supply, the 964 is limited in numbers. Always twice as many 993s for sale over here as there are 964s. I assume it is a simple question of less being sold when new; last big recession. We all know it is the last classic shaped ( best looking ), air-cooled Porsche and hopefully, more people are realising what a great car it is. Let's keep talking them up, not down.

"...the 964 remains one of the most underated 911s of all time" excellence 5/07. The magazine gushes over the 968 then pickes the 964. You do the math.

classic silhouette, modern interior and hvac, build quality, decent hp, limited production..........

exactly - it's a quixotic blend - prices will climb as demand grows and supply tightens.

The last two pics the wing is gone.

People can become pretty delusional about putting a price on the car that they have invested in and become attached to.

seller's rationale? --> "rs america wing" = RSA price?

(-and it's not even a true rsa wing!)

If so, I can't wait to sell my "genuine RS engine mount" C2!

You guys are lucky! This car would have a price of 50-55000 dollars here in Norway!

I'd sell you my 964 for 30K based on the pricing structure
