Default Who said 964 prices are falling?

Think this example might be a little over priced.

I noticed the three 92-94s were high on autotrader too (two were tips even).

a little?? nice edition and guess mileage is low side.......but priced way high compared to what i was looking at when bought my car 3 mos ago.
from what i track/read prices other than limited editions/turbos continue to remain flat/fall (but nowhere near velocity of 996's!!)

I tend to agree with you about being "a little over priced." It would be nice to know what it eventually sells for. If he gets $40,000 then I'm putting mine up for sale immediately...

If he gets anywhere in the 30's I would be shocked. I wish him luck! :0

At least he's got some Carrera stripes and a wing............. We've got a nutjob out here who's spamming Craiglist with a '94 968 (admittedly about 20K miles) for.................FORTY THOUSAND!!!!!! (And he basically tells anyone who wants to flag the ad based on the price to go F-off.)

When I purchased mine (July 2009) it was originally listed for $30,000 in January but could not sell. Let's just say that after 7 months on the market I got a good deal and mine has a newly rebuilt engine (3,000 miles since re-building) and allot of aftermarket modifications.

Gauging market direction, whether going up or down, has nothing to do with an advertised price. That’s just for show. The only true matrix is the actual strike/sell price. And that's a little harder to gauge and be knowledgeable of.

I would agree - Good sense tells me he's not going to get close to that number...But I could be wrong...

Maybe a coincidence, but I regularly look at the Panorama ads, and they only had 4 964's for sale in the Sept mag, but plenty of other 911's. I check it every month to see how my value might be holding, so it really popped out to me when there were so few listed. So, perhaps the limited supply of 964's is holding / pushing the prices up?
