What are you trying to do? Are you having problems with the heat or A/C? If yes, then you need to troubleshoot your heater flap servos.

AFAIK there are no servos in the footwells on a 964. All 5 servos are located in the luggage compartment forward of the windscreen. It's on the 993 that the mixing flap motors are in the footwells.

But...but...but, my Porsche mechanic connected the car to the diagnostic tool and said it was the flaps "Stellmotoren" that gave the red flag...located in the foot wells. He always knows what he’s doing, servicing 964 the hole day long....
I have searched and not found anything in Adrians book or in the Porsche PET lists drawings, so I am confused. There should be 5 servos and that’s correct regarding to the PET. Have to check that right now...( nice to have the car right underneath me in the warm garage)

+1 - The servos are inside the front trunk. Here are some reference diagrams of how the 964's heat/AC system works.

Where did you get this diagram? It is the best by far in explaining the HVAC air flow of the car.

Thanks Rocket Rob........In the link for the DIY, the problem is that he gets NO hot air.....I’m getting only HOT air....cant breath in the car!! The vents in the middle are delivering enough to heat some Knackwurst….I checked No 2 and 4 servos. The are responding on the temp **** when I’m turning from cold-hot.... Maybe some flaps somewhere in the middle of nothing that’s playing with me?
