Not sure where Rob got it from, but you can try North Hollywood Speedometer for starters.

The ClocK? You guys are looking at this car and all you see is the clock....Yep the clock is cool but look at this car.

So well done. Props on this masterpiece. The 73's are the Best 911 EVER. To have a Tribute car that adds to it's Heritage and Class just rocks. Plus 425 uncontrolled hp in 2400lbs makes me want to upgrade my Helmet for daily driving use

Settling in that I would have to sell my Scud to buy it, I can't grasp that one yet. They will sell some but so has Bugatti and that crazy 2mil Lambo. The price has to be placed to make sure they can keep up with production. For a more real 200k number collectors will order them. At 300k they will run out of orders after the first 50 or so collectors grab one. They will then be off to another project or having to drop the price to find more buyers. This would then hurt the original collectors.

Tough dilema for sure.........Just my 2 cents

Well Done on this car it is a beauty.

Agreed! That would be a cool piece to have in my car. I would love to know how to get one.

I really like the look of this car. The color, the wheels, the clock ;-), the exhaust, the fender flares.... etc. The list goes on and on. But with a price tag near 300k, this for sure will never end up in my garage - simply because I don't have that much money to spend on a car. I have to settle with dreaming!

Colin,

What's the target date for official launch? Will any cars be on exhibition around the country? It would be cool if people could at least sit, maybe drive or be driven in an example of the car, all for the purpose of creating more buzz, and getting more orders. I hope you guys can come up with a great marketing plan so that you can keep the price down as much as possible. Then maybe one of these days I can afford a used one. Good Luck with the project, very well done.

Don't hold me to this as being the engine man I'm not completely in the loop for the car, but as far as I know the schedule has the prototype ready for press & limited customer testing sometime in November or December. As far as I know, there are several buyers lined up with chequebook in hand, so once the magazines have had a play no doubt they will be getting behind the wheel for some much valued feedback from them as well.

Leading up to then there is a bit of mechanical work to be completed, including fine tuning the suspension geometry, damper settings & spring rates, optimising gear ratios and of course dyno mapping and road tuning the Motec engine management. The interior is also destined to receive the finished production trim package and the new aircon system has to be installed, which is obviously a lot more than just a pair of seats and a carpet set. Of course, whilst this is all going on the moulds are being re-tooled to produce the production panels so that the car is ready to be delivered on time once orders are accepted.

Ok....new dream car duly noted. Guaranteed marriage ender! Colin - just to confirm....will this car be legal and available in the US - specifically to CA residents?!

Well old thread but got an email from Singer this weekend with pricing.....
Base Model 300hp Starts at 215k
Top Model 425hp Starts at 275k
With all the things I would want my choices would be near 330k. Including $7500 for Carbon Seats

that's a little Steep imho with all of the competition in that price range. I paid less for my CGT

Everyone incurring about the Tag Heuer clock it's a $2500 add to the car

Ouch. With what else is coming down the pipe in that price range, there's some stiff competition. Ferrari 458, the new McLaren, the MB Gullwing......

$2500 for the clock alone? That's the price of a PSS10 set

Great looking car and I'm sure a few features will trickle down into the more affordable arena once people start copying them! The mirror is seriously cool and I love those centre exhausts.

Cheers,

David
