I use one of Rob's sub enclosures behind the driver seat. Best thing I ever did for the sound in my C2.

Rally Guy is absolutely correct. Here is my theory for my set-up. I've got boston Acoustic Pro 60SE speakers in my doors (6.75") powered by Bos. Acous. GT-42 4channel power amp. This is actually pretty acceptable for volume, clarity, and "Basic" bass needs. I thought I'd try something for that "little extra" in the bass range, so I bought 2 JL Audio 8" woofers for a $140.00 total cost. I built boxes for my rear seats since I wanted something removable AND unnoticable. They are a bit small, but with port tubes installed they add a considerable full bass above the door speakers. I used the extra 2 channels from my GT-42 amp so I can adjust crossover, etc. It's a good upgrade in audio performance for little $$$ and easily removable if rear seats are needed.
