Track Wheel Help
Hey guys - anyone that can help?
I own a 1990 964 that I run my track tires with on 17" Porsche factory Cup II's
(993 era wheels).
I own a 2001 Boxster S that came stock with 18" turbo twists.
My question is are they swap-able? Can I run the 17" track setup on the Boxster, and can I mount the 18's on my 964? Are the offsets compatible?
Thanks!!

I have Boxster wheels on my '90, 17x7 ET55 and 17x8.5 ET50 with 205/50 and 255/40. The Cup IIs are very similar, 17x7 ET55 and 17x9 ET55, so those are interchangable. The 18s, however, may not be as much of the 964 literature says to not run 18" wheels.

My own boxster has 8.5 inch/ET 52 wheels on the rear (17 inch rims). A 9 inch/ET55 cup 2 wheel would lead to 9mm less clearance from the strut which could mean you get rubbing issues when fitting those to the boxster (unless you put some spacers on).
p.s. would be interested to see a pic of the cup 2s on the boxster if you put them on.

On my Boxster I run the 17" Porsche Cup11's. My 911 (964) has 18" Porsche Euromeister for the streets. My track wheels for the 911 are 17" Porsche Cup11's.

Sorry my mistake, I have the 17" Porsche Turbo Twist wheels (sorry I mentioned the wrong wheels, I mistakenly worded the wrong wheels. The thread was talking about 17" Cup's and i mistakenly thought that was what I had.) The 18" Euromeister on the 964 is correct.
