Thanks to everyone for the kind words - you really know how to make a guy feel welcome! I'll post up some more pics, with interior shots, later today.

It's a funny story actually. My Wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary in Portland and whenever in the area I make a point to hit the high-line dealers up there (I have a generous Wife)

One of them mentioned that they had a 'powder' blue 964 coming in from California. I knew that it had to be one of the hard to describe colors from the Porsche palette (powder blue?) so I hit their websit daily for quite awhile. I wasn't REALLY shopping, but I'm always looking.

About three weeks later, I was talking to one of my good friends (SayPorsha above) about this mythical 'powder blue' car and the fact that I hadn't seen it pop up on the site yet. That very night, his Wife (a fellow car-nut) saw it and mentioned the car to him - he fired a text to me at 11:30pm and I knew my net worth was about to be shaken.

We both went up the next day and were there first thing when they openned. It took me awhile to come to grips with the color - it's really different in shade with a good deal of purple, but the more I looked at it, the more I realized it was the right one. After seeing the looks it was getting from other customers I put money down on it quickly.

I had Kurt at Marque Motors check it out and the rest is history. The original D90's were replaced as quickly as possible, but cosmetically it's as I bought it... So far

Awesome car!!!
I knew I had some serious NW Porsche fans to contend with which is why I had to act quickly! I honestly think it never really hit the floor, I got there 15 minutes after they openned and they were still finishing the prep work.

Does anyone know how many Maritime C2's were produced for the US? Has to be a VERY small number.

I would love to know this too. Seemed to be a pretty rare, but I've not found any numbers as of yet.

Besides the well-documented RSA, your 964 is the one of three I know of.
Earlier in the year and on the PCA website, there was a maritime blue targa.
Expensively priced and it was not there long.

Congratulations on a great and rare find! You've the best 964 color.
