Default need quick measurement please

I need someone to take a width measurement from left front lower inner strut mount bolt to right front lower inner strut mount bolt.

In other words if you open the hood and look at the strut mounts, you have 4 bolts. The two inner bolts closest to the center of the car, and closest to the front of the car is what i need the measurement of.

Long story, but I have conflicting numbers (25 mm difference!) from two very reliable sources. Inches are fine (down to the 1/16th), but mm or cm would be best.

Must be from a C2.

Thanks!

just to make sure!! 33 3/4?? and thats the distance between passenger and drives side, inner, lower strut bolts? Is that from the center of the top of the stud, or? (the two closest to the front of the car, and closest to the center of the car?)

Thanks!

Interesting. What are you getting?

Note that mine is a C4, but the shop manuals do not differentiate between the cars for the body. 869mm +/- 2 is what I see in the manuals; both before and after 1991. Roughly 34 3/16 inches.

I measured from the center of the top of the nut, which is on top of an about 1/4" thick strut brace plate. The studs do angle quite a bit, so where on the stud the measurement is taken can probably account for a .25" discrepancy in the measurement.

between the inner front strut top securing bolts 857mm, bit difficult with carpet, strut brace and some plastic thank in the way, and the hood release dropping on my spine

between the centres of the strut top bolts appros 875mm, much easier
