Cool Adrian Streather are you out there?

I haven't heard from you in a while.

Any new books forthcoming?

Are you still a moderator for RL?

I got a nice Christmas email from him but as far as I know he is out of the Pcar book biz. Here is his website where you can contact him:

I read this on his web site

Adrian has submitted the draft manuscript of a new and significantly improved 964 book to the original 964 book's publisher for evaluation.
Wonder what the status of that project is?

Adrian was always very active - and sometime very vocal - on this forum but when his 964 book was published the publishers, Bentley, "suggested" to him that he might adversely influence the book sales if he got involved in discussions that seemed to get quite heated some times. I'm sure a lot of people went out of their way to bait him into arguments and, because of this, he stopped the vast majority of his postings. It was a great shame because the Rennlist forum was better with his huge knowledge on tap and I, for one, miss his contributions greatly.

Regards

Dave

One of the best books I've ever read. Second only to the Curious George series....

Adrian has always given help freely to those who have requested it and remains a great resource to many enthusiasts. Hopefully some of the idiots and politicians responsible for Adrian's lack of board activity the last few years realize their mistakes.

When did you get your car Lonnie? I haven't seen Adrian on the 964 board more than a handful of times, if that, in the last 3 or 4 years...

I picked up my car in late '06.
Adrian pm'd me, unsolicited, regarding a question I'd tossed out to the board in general re ScanTool usefulness.
We had a nice, private give & take for a while on the topic, as I recall.
I never said anything about it till now, because I took his thoughts to have been made in confidence, so I maintained same.

He's "gute volk".

(Figure he's like Batman: He's out there... unnoticed, stealthy... at the fringes of Renn City... Till some newbie calls out in distress.)

He's around. I PM'ed him with a perplexing question about a year ago, and he was characteristically generous and thorough in answering. He has a GT2 also and posts in the 996 section occasionally, though not often.

Ah, right! Sounds exactly like the sort of thing Adrian would do. The Batman analogy is great!
