Default Need new tires in Fresno

Hi guys, whom can I trust to put tires on my C2? Any suggestions on tires themselves? Stock, daily driver. Thanks.

Hi Ho
Going thru the same decision process.
Decided on Firestone Wide Oval... 215/45 on the front, 265/45 on the rear, 17" Cup1s
Seems somewhat funny to apply Firestine Wide oval on a RSA however best bang for the buck and top rated (#1) on Tire rack charts
Thoughts?

Wow, that's over an inch taller in the rear. 235/275 I run on mine still leave massive amounts of understeer.

I just looked, and it's a 265/40.........so that's hardly taller at all.

I thought Sumutomo HTRZ III was the numero uno on Tire Rack. Inexpensive too.

Here is the url link @ tire rack http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...y.jsp?type=UHP
I'm still somewhat un-sure of the Firestones.
Any listers riding on these?

They didn't have a HTRZ III when they did those tests. I'm pretty sure it beat all those tires. You can read the reviews. It's mentioned quite a bit.

Just my two cents, but I picked up a pair of Falken FK452 and have been pretty happy with them. Great traction in the rain and are quiet. This is coming off Bridgestone Pole Position SO3's which the tread was rough in rainy weather.

going with Sumitomo HTRZ III's from Tire rack delivered to a preferred installer 12 miles from home. Thanks everyone. Go drive!
