For everyone heading up the A5 please be careful of the speed camera near MIRA. This is on the stretch of A5 between Hinckley and Tamworth.

Nice bit of road if it's clear and its easy to go slightly over the limit.

Good call Rob, saw one there when going to MIRA one afternoon, would it be the one in the lay-by towards the end of the dual carriageway?

Yep, that's the one.

Used to catch loads of our lorry drivers out when we did the Tamworth run everyday.

Well not going to be there now, just had to phone the local again and they are now saying as the car is in bits it's unlikely to be together before the weekend, I'm pissed and gutted together.

About 50% chance of going Sunday, up A34, M40 etc etc.

OOI: our generous host of the past.... Raymond: is he doing well?

Who knows where to access Raymond's son's 964-meets' photo collection? Apostrophe nightmare that

Shaun,

Raymond is on the list for Sunday's meet - so hopefully you'll get a chance to ask him. Otherwise I'm sure he may reply here.

BTW, for anyone else interested, I've added the Doodle links to the 2009 Events page at www.964uk.com so you can register directly and see who's coming without having to wade through forum messages to find the links. Here's a direct link to the Events page.

Regards

Dave

The weather actually looks fairly promising for a change. My car is dirty from last week - I might wash it when I get to CG if I've got enough time.

I was thinking of dropping in at Scatchwood for about 8.45 in case anyone else goes that way. Probably come off on to A5 at J17. Could come off at J9 to A5, but would be slower that way.
