As I understand pin G19 by CCU is connected with rear blower relay socket pin 87.
We have jumpered 87 to 30.
G19 by CCU must have 12V now.

Rolling jack

that is correct. On 993 rear blower relay socket pin 30 is connected to +12v via a 30A fuse which I reduced to 1A just for safety sake. pin 87 goes to pin G19 & G1 on ccu.

My car is a November '90 build, but it is a 1991 model...the jumpers worked PERFECTLY and right on time with that info. Rolling Jack as I was about to solder in the resistors today!

FWIW, the wires do not get hot...I had everything running for about 20min. and went for a (VERY NOISEY) drive, no problem.

Noisey due to the new semi-solid motor mounts and solid trans. mount - UGH.

Ok, I am guessing that the 35 pin harness is connected to the back of the CCU? My Bentley book suggests connecting G1 and G19 if you upgrade CCU?
What is the rear fan supposed to do with CCU switchs in off position?
Mine cycles on and off all the time so is this the problem we are trying to solve? I am not interested in eliminating the rear fan
THANKS!!!

I would think you can get the Y or T adaptors at most auto supply stores.

If you use a T fitting, make the straight flow go to the distributor.

Alternative is to drill another hole in the CF tube and fit a second tube connection. IIRC the recommended procedure for this was discussed on this board.

can you not drill a second hole in the Fabspeed part ala the factory part ? ie same spacing and diameter.

Mine did not - I added the breather kit by drilling a hole (Oh yeah, Porsche is not perfect..... ).

Yes, that would be the easy answer but I wanted the same nice aluminum breather nipple the Fabspeed one has.

I gave the double jumper trick a try this afternoon in my 89 C4, works perfectly. I have the original CCU, and was previously unable to get air unless it was set on full cold.

I didn't have any appropriate fittings, so I just used some 14awg stranded wire - smashed it flat, and dropped a touch of solder on the ends. Ugly, but gets the job done for the time being.

Good to hear that it seems to work for everyone, regardless of MY. And it's still only I who have the hesitation on fan speed 4....strange!
