Default Recaro PP's in Black with Beige/Linen insert?

I'm thinking of changing the seats on my C2 to a pair of Recaro Pole Positions -

Anyone out there know how close a colour match the beige version is to the Porsche Linen interior?

Is their a fitting kit specific to the 911 for them?

Heres the seat -

Cheers!

Can't answer your question... but just wanted to comment that those seats are going to look awesome in the car! Post photos once is done.

You can order them with beige inserts. Call Thatcher from Speedware Motorsports and I'm sure he can get it done for you.

Thumbs up

(If I'm picturing this correctly, I think you're about to match Ruf in aesthetically pleasing interiors. Please post pics if plan comes together.)

Those Cobra's with the linen look fantastic. I'm going to see how close the beige versions of the PP's are to linen. I might try Recaro to see if I can get a sample...

As for the pics, I'll defintely take some photos once they're fitted.

Heres a before shot!

Or paint the black seat backs the color of your exterior and leave the inserts as black!

You know, that's an idea actually! You've got me thinking now.

The interior is midnight blue (as are the mats), though it looks black in that photo. Might see about a very dark blue insert to match...

Anybody know what's involved in recovering a set of pole positions? You might get the set in cloth and then have them recovered to match. This has to be a pretty popular mod... Do any of the reputable porsche interior specialists sell recover kits for the PPs or offer this as a service?

Thanks for that Elbeee. Thats exactly the color combo I'm looking at for the PP's.

It'll also make the interior easier to keep clean looking, Linen leather get grubby looking very quickly. As for the carpets...

I fitted the same seats but just kept with the black suede inserts. I decided red inserts wouldn't quite match with my burgundy interior so resisted the urge! Yes you need a fitting kit to put the seats in (side mounts and sliders). You can get this from Southbound Trimmers - about £250 to fit two seats.

Hi,

if I install PPs with standard belts, will my children be able to enter the back seats?

Tks!
