Remove the evaporator?
Hi, a simple question. Is it possbile to remove the evaporator without removing the fuel tank? Just want to know the amount of work before I start.

Ha! Short answer, No. Long answer: Replacing Evaporator
A lot of the photos have gone missing from the thread... and I can't find them in my backups to reload them. Sorry...
Not hard work, just takes time...

Thanks, had a feeling that would be the answer...:-)
I was thinking about deleting the A/C system. I don't need it that often and I'm pretty sure that it is the evaporator that's leaking. And there are other things that are funnier to spend money on. But with all this work it would maybe be easier to leave it in the car since it's fairly light and just remove the rest of the system.
