Who's got the lightest c4?
Lightweight RS and c2 conversions excluded who's shed the most weight from their c4?
I have a friend who's building one right now and his target weight is anywhere near 1100Kg. Anybody gotten that low? If so how does it go?

Tuscany I can only assume from your reply you are not aware of what Robert Lintons car is. A project in perfect car ****! Do a search for "Humpty Dumpty" and enjoy your reading.

No I hadn't seen that, and now that I have I don't think I should have looked
Thanks for the tip
Is it a c4 though? As garrett said it looks like a tiptronic g'box. And if it is it would leave me kind of perplexed as to why you would do all that to a tiptronic (gs or not) unless more serious issues don't allow the use of a manual g'box. BTW I had never heard of a GS America before...

You may have never heard of the America GS before, because there is only 1.
Bob's put a lot of work into his car, and having seen his carbon fibre work first hand, I can honestly say it is art and engineering in a sublime form, truely astonishing.

The seller of this very light C4 may be in contention:

(EDIT: I obviously need better reading glasses, but it is still a very cool C4! Also, I think I read somewhere that Walter Rohrl has one...)

I appreciate the responses but as I said in the first post I was wondering who had the lightest c4 - NO c2 or c2 conversions or rs lightweights... just a stripped down c4.
As great as R.Linton's is it is not a c4 and c4 lightweights are a bit rare and expensive
Anybody?

I am definitely no expert, but in theory could you look at the lightest weight C2 that a lot of people have done on this board. Then add back the weight of the AWD components. Not sure what those would weigh though.
Now that I think about it, probably not a good idea. Just a thought.
