Default Leaking purple fluid

From about right in front of the dash, from a vertical position. Not had time to put the car on a lift yet, but any ideas right off the bat? It's a small leak, just a few drops over the course of a few weeks.

I'm thinking it may be power steering fluid, which is red when new. It is purplish when dirty. It can't be brake fluid, nor gasoline. They are different colors. What color is your windshield washer fluid?

What brake fluid do you have?

My pressure switch went and leaked into the front boot. Then out from the center, back of the front trunk through drain holes. I had ATE Super Blue; not purple, but similar?

I'm thinking power steering fluid too. Do you have a C4? If so, what colour is the fluid used in the front diff? I know it supposed to smell bad..!

Not a C4- a c2 Cab. Washer fluid is out- it's more gel-like than water-like. Slippery like heck too.

That's likely Dextron, which is recommended for your power steering system. Take off the under cover (10mm heads) and prepare for a splash of it. You might have loose fittings, or worst case, a leaking rack. (I am in the process of replacing mine right now...)

The old standard test .
Take white card stock and put a drop of every suspect fluid on it .
The one that looks like the drip , is the drip .

What brand of brake fluid is in there? ATE - Blue is kinda purple-ish on the ground, and the resevoir overflow is right in front of the dash (exits @ the front of the driver door)

I guess there are different flavors but when mine decided it would sooner be on the outside than the inside it was close to clear, with a very slight opaqueness.
