I've got an FVD set, and I think they look the nicest of any I've seen. Instead of being flat on the side that butts up against the corner lights, they are slight "curved" and fit up against the corner lights without leaving any gaps like some I've seen do. I'm sure there are other brands that do this as well, but I know for a fact FVD does, and I've seen ALOT that don't, and have weird gaps where the corner light is.

I'll take a look at mine and see which type I have (I can't remeber what brand they are) and try to load a photo to show the finish. The ones that I have are made of fiberglass and I had to sand them to get them to the quality of finish I wanted before paint. I would venture to say that most of the sets you can buy out there are the same way. You get them, then you sand, mud, sand some more and thhen prime and paint...

I'd rather have no lights then have those tiny stupid looking lanterns. They look OK on the 993s but not on the 964. Go without them or go with Techart.

A friend of mine bought some from design911 and said they were shocking and even offered them to me for £20 unused.. Is there a genuine part available that fits perfectly ?

Mine were fine, Ive worked with fibre glass over the years, they needed a tickle, but I sprayed them with Halfords flexi plastic primer to hopefully prevent chipping then filled and primed a few times, then got Halfords to correctly mix guards red spray and did it all myself....piece of p*ss...Let them dry a week and buffed with T cut...I am a fussy bugger and I am happy with them.
They were a tricky fit ,but another link showed how to do it....they all seem the same trickyness.
