Default Finally......

After following the forum for quite some time, I finally found the right car. Thanks for all the helpful info! '91 C2 GP White with 85K miles. Now the fun begins!

Fall drives coming up, man...

Smile Thanks all, now time for some upgrades!

Thinking about the following:

Suspension (Bilstein + H&R)
Clear Corners
Front Brake Ducts
Shift Kit
Bridge Wing
17" Cup Wheels (White Powdercoat)

I'll do my best to search the forum while apologizing in advance for asking common questions!

Hmm, is this the car that popped onto autotrader like last week???

My vote for mods is: Suspension first, clear corners (zims has the lowest price), and a muffler bypass.

Yes, after looking for ages, I saw this one last week, got the PPI and snapped it up!

Interesting items on your list. (no 'wrong' things, there -- personal preferences. have fun!)

I'd posit first thing to consider is 'eating yer vegetables'. ie, bringing the car's rudimentary stuff righteous, consumables-wise: filters, fluids flushed, pads/rotors thicknesses checked, and fixing existing weirdnesses. If you can do this stuff yourself, all the better!

This gives you a good basis datum to launch off of and is cheap insurance/ peace of mind over recent previous owner receipts. (eg, my weirdnesses showed cam seals and spark plugs needed changing. Go figure.)

Alignment checked?... heh -- talk about a vegetable.

Congratulations!!! Enjoy it in good health.

And ask as many questions as you like, after you use the search first, of course . We are here to help!

Mod away! You left out the aero mirrors from the list.

Congradulations! Looks great. It will be nice to see another 964 on the road around these parts.

Jonny's a great friend- I'm very stoked for him. The best colour combo IMHO.

I advised him to do the polar opposite to what I've done with my two cars and he'll be very happy.

Totally agree with a pre-emptive strike on fluids, hoses, belts etc. Then, let the games begin.

Car looks like a great blank slate upon which to apply your own personal mark.
