G'day ilko,

Here's a few pics and measurements of the prop.

The overall length is 431mm.

Rod diameter is 8mm.

The length of the taper on the end is 12mm.

The hole is 7mm dia.

As you can see the end is flattened out for approx 22mm.

If you lay the prop flat on a table; from the table to the bottom of the flattened part is 5mm.

part 2 on the way

Part 2:

The mounting plate is 1mm thick and 62mm X 27mm.

You can see that the plate is curved on one side (long side) to fit neatly.

The threaded stud is 6mm metric with a nyloc nut.

The stud is 15mm long.

The holes are spaced 42mm apart (long ways) and 11mm apart (across) and are 3.2mm suitable for 1/8 pop rivets.

Sorry I have no details of the clip that hold it when not in use.

I hope this helps those that want to make there own.

You can see the part number on it so check it out at your local stealer. You may be surprised

The parts are so cheap from the dealer, it isn't worth your time to make them.

All these tough decisions....it makes my head ache!

I'll help make it easier. The later style are a pain because you have the pins dangling all the time and they contact the painted surface which then scratches or pits them. They are also expensive compared to the old style.

I especially dig the German flag screen that can be drawn between the lift and the rest of the garage.

Geoffrey, you are way to practial! But since I'm going for the CUP-look I'm leaning towards the old style. We'll see what happens!
