Default 964 timing chain tensioner in action (video)

Thought you guys might get a kick out of my first youtube video. I am tracking down a noise that my 964 engine makes when it is cold, and my local mechanic pointed me towards the timing chain tensioners. I'm not 100% sure that's what the problem is, but when the engine is decelerating you can see the chain tensioner moving up and down. I figure I will replace them anyway and go from there. As far as this video, the engine is already warm, so the mystery noise is not actually on the audio.

You can actually embed that right in here, if you are so inclined. All you have to do is type in [_yt] O-eyXRc64fw [_/yt] only remove the underscores. I had to add the _ to keep the board software from actually liking to your video. The O-eyXRc64fw bit is from the youtube URL right after the "v="

Here's how it looks embedded:

Great video!

In my DOHC Fiat engines, the valve tappets are off center on the cam lobe to allow them to spin, and distribute any wear over time. FWIW.

Thanks for the comments guys.

JD, I didn't realize it was that easy to embed the video, or I would have added it to the post.. thanks.
